BRIEF BIO

Chris Fleck is a Chicago-based photographer specializing in portraiture. He is equally comfortable in studio or on location and works on projects ranging from simple and effective head shots to elaborately staged and lit images for commercial clients.

Chris’ unique approach to lighting lends his images a dramatic, often cinematic feel and his ability to connect with, put at ease and direct even the most camera adverse subjects brings out genuine personalities in his photos. He believes each image has a story to tell and achieving that narrative is the end goal for every assignment.

PERSONAL WORK

A strong believer in creating personal work for both experimentation and to foster creative development, Chris is constantly in search of the next self-initiated project. He also views photography as powerful tool for raising awareness, effecting change and supporting charitable and cultural institutions and enjoys creating work for these purposes. When not working with people, Chris dabbles in street and landscape photography, elements of each influencing his work as a portraitist.
